First blog...

Per Rajiv's request, here is a short introduction.

I have been in Minnesota for about 3 and a half years after moving from Austin, TX in 2004. I graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in Mechnical Engineering. Currently, I work for Praxair as the sales manager for southern MN and northern IA.

After living in the United States for nearly 30 years, both of my parents are now back in Taiwan doing missionary work. I have a younger brother who still resides in Texas and is in law school in Houston. I recently proposed to my fiancee in New Orleans and she will be graduating with her Masters in Business Communication from the University of St. Thomas in two weeks! I've listed some of my interests in my profile.

The trip to India didn't really require too much thought. After all, when will I ever have the opportunity to visit India again and experience it's culture within the safe environment of a group? Also, there probably isn't any better way to learn about international business than to actually visit another country and learn about business practices from professors, students, and executives from that country. As business continues to grow internationally, this experience will undoubtedly impact my actions and decision-making throughout the rest of my career. And besides, it's a great excuse to dodge a full month of the cold Minnesota weather!
